Sterling Women's Hero Fund Scholarship Application
Thank you for your interest in the Hero Fund Scholarship. The purpose of this scholarship is to provide financial assistance to women who desire to attend the Sterling Women's Weekend or Sterling Women's Weekend Classes and are committed to personal growth, and continued participation in the Sterling Institute of Relationship Programs.
Please read the following information carefully before completing this application.
The Hero Fund Scholarship covers tuition for the Sterling Women's Weekend or Sterling Women's Weekend Classes only. All other expenses associated with attending the Weekend—including, but not limited to, transportation, lodging (if applicable), meals, and any other personal expenses—are the sole responsibility of the applicant.
Submission of this application does not guarantee a scholarship award. After an initial review of your application, you will be contacted to schedule an interview with you and your Big Sister. The interview is a required part of the scholarship process and will help determine final scholarship approval.
Recipients of the Hero Fund Scholarship are expected to fully participate in and complete the Sterling Women's Weekend or the Sterling Women's Weekend Classes. In the event you do not complete, you may be required to reimburse the Hero Fund. In addition, Sterling Women's Weekend scholarship recipients are expected to continue their growth journey by enrolling in and actively participating in the Sterling Women's Weekend Classes following the completion of their Weekend. These expectations will be explained further during the interview.
The Hero Fund Scholarship is made possible through the generosity of people who believe in the transformative impact of the Sterling Institute of Relationship programs. As you complete this application, we encourage you to consider how you might one day "pay it forward"—whether through service, volunteerism, or supporting the scholarship fund—so that other women may have the same opportunity for growth and transformation.
