Sterling Women's Hero Fund Participation Grant Program

Thank you for your interest in the Hero Fund Participation Grant Program.

The Hero Fund, administered by The Reeves Organization, exists to help remove financial barriers that may prevent women from participating in the transformational educational experiences offered through the Sterling Institute of Relationship. Hero Fund Participation Grants are designed to provide financial assistance toward the cost of attending the Sterling Women's Weekend or the Sterling Women's Weekend Classes for women who demonstrate financial need and are committed to their personal growth and continued participation in the Sterling community.

Please read the following information carefully before completing your application.

Hero Fund Participation Grants provide financial assistance toward the cost of participation in the Sterling Women's Weekend or Sterling Women's Weekend Classes. Grant awards are determined individually through The Reeves Organization's application and interview process and are based on demonstrated financial need, available Hero Fund resources, and the organization's commitment to expanding access to these life-changing programs. Applicants remain responsible for any program costs not covered by their grant award, as well as any additional expenses associated with attending the Weekend or Classes, including, but not limited to, transportation, lodging (if applicable), meals, and other personal expenses.

Submission of an application does not guarantee that a Participation Grant will be awarded. Following an initial review, qualified applicants will be asked to participate in an interview with The Reeves Organization, accompanied by their Big Sister. The interview is an important part of the review process and allows the Hero Fund Committee to better understand each applicant's circumstances, commitment, and financial need before determining grant awards.

Recipients of a Hero Fund Participation Grant are expected to fully participate in and complete the Sterling Women's Weekend or the Sterling Women's Weekend Classes for which assistance has been awarded. Participants who attend the Sterling Women's Weekend are also expected to continue their personal growth by enrolling in and actively participating in the Sterling Women's Weekend Classes following completion of the Weekend. These expectations, along with any additional program responsibilities associated with receiving a Hero Fund Participation Grant, will be reviewed during the interview process.

To protect the privacy and dignity of all applicants and preserve the integrity of the Hero Fund Participation Grant Program, recipients are expected to keep their grant award confidential. Grant recipients should not disclose the amount of their award or discuss the details of their financial assistance with other participants or members of the Sterling community. Likewise, The Reeves Organization is committed to maintaining the confidentiality of all applications, interviews, financial information, and grant award decisions, except as necessary to administer the program.

The Hero Fund is made possible through the generosity of graduates, donors, and supporters who believe in the transformative impact of the Sterling Institute of Relationship programs. As you begin your journey, we encourage you to consider how you might one day "pay it forward" by serving others, volunteering your time, mentoring another woman, or making a future contribution to the Hero Fund so that more women may experience the same opportunity for growth and transformation.

By submitting this application, you acknowledge that you have read and understand the Hero Fund Participation Grant Program requirements, expectations, and responsibilities outlined above.

Please note: An applicant may submit only one Hero Fund Participation Grant application during a calendar year.
